We proudly announce UGO’s participation in the upcoming Regional Consultative Meeting for Africa and the 20th Ordinary Session of AMCEN, hosted by UNEP. Our Chairman will also engage in the African Keystone Protected Areas Partnership Workshop, led by the African Union Commission and the African Wildlife Foundation. UGO fellowship 2024 Cohort brought together 15 passionate individuals for an intensive three-month development program, culminating in an exclusive seven-day exchange program in Botswana. The program is tailored for young people who have never flown or traveled outside their home country, offering them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to broaden their horizons and gain global exposure. Through expert-led training, hands-on projects, and cultural immersion, fellows developed innovative solutions to address pressing societal challenges. By the end of the program, they were equipped with the tools to lead impactful community projects and drive sustainable change in their respective regions.
