The Fellowship Programme

The UGO Fellowship Programme is a transformative initiative designed for tertiary students from underprivileged backgrounds. This intensive three-month skills development journey, followed by a one-week exchange in partner countries, empowers participants with essential skills in personal development, ethical leadership, social entrepreneurship, technology, community development, and sustainability.

Eligibility Requirements

Who Can Apply

The Fellowship is designed for tertiary students who demonstrate commitment to sustainability and community development.

Ages 18-32 from participating countries

Minimum 65% average in latest results

Enrolled in sustainability/green economy related courses

No prior flight and international travel experience

Open to domestic and international travel

No criminal record

From a disadvantaged background (with affidavit)

Application Process

How to Apply

Our streamlined application process is designed to identify passionate students who will benefit most from the fellowship experience.

Application

Submit your application starting March annually.

Selection

Applications reviewed April-May, cohort announced in June.

Programme

July 1st - September 30th: 3-month skills development.

Exchange

September 22nd - 30th: One-week exchange in a partner country.
